Tackle It Tuesday: Gingerbread House

Today my 5 year old and I are going to tackle making a gingerbread house. I have not made a gingerbread house in years. I make gingerbread cookies every year but a whole house? We’ll see how much of a house we end up with since we both like sweets.

honolulu has a yearly gingerbread house event. you pays your money, you gets your building supplies. it is so much fun. why did i ever leave honolulu!

Ah but don’t let the picture put you off, she had PEOPLE to make that for her… and they probably had their stomachs stapled and their mouths sewed shut! Sounds like a tip top plan to me! Have fun.

I hope you post pics of the house you and yours build…my kids and I made a few last weekend and decided they represent New Orleans during Katrina…next year we’re going to make a chocolate hogan…I think it’ll turn out better. *lol*
