Smurfs At The Baby Grand Hotel
Could you do it? Stay in a Smurfs themed hotel room? I’m all for luxury hotels and going on vacation but I don’t think I could personally handle a whole suite dedicated to these cute blue cartoon characters, even if it is in an exotic location such as Greece.
Urban Retro Lifestyle explains that if you are not into childish themes, then you do have a choice of other graffiti rooms to choose from……..
“The Baby Grand Hotel brings together all that makes Athens unique: history, culture, innovation, and diversity. 10 international artists from the fields of urban art, graffiti design and illustration transformed Baby Grand, into Europe’s most exciting and creative city hotel.”
If you’re into super heroes then the Spiderman room might be a better fit than the Smurfs room.
Personally, I like the psychodelic, 70’s look of the lobby the best. What say you?

Woah! The lobby looks fabulous but the rooms are a little too much I confess. I’d rather live in a room that has the latest models of computers pasted on the walls. I know I’m weird that way but Smurfs and Spiderman don’t make the cut for me.
I think I could probably do it if it was a family oriented vacation. I really want to go do a Disney cruise, so I guess this hotel is about the same as that.
Yeah, if the kids are there they would love it. But if I’m going on a trip to Greece I will probably be with the hubby and the last thing I would want in my room is something that resembles morning cartoons.
Thanks for stopping by Sarah!
I love Spider-man, and especially that simple, modern room design! Definitely my style.
The minis as furniture is really cool too, but I’m not into the whole hippie/rainbow stuff, doesn’t seem very professional to me.
If they had Mini Cooper S’s as furniture (in colours that match the room) in the Spider-man room, ohh man, I’d take that over a room in a millionaire hotel in Dubai!
Whatever floats your boat
Ooo..I love the lobby wallpaper….but the smurf’s room…one word: scary.
Hey, I really love old retro stuff and vintage furniture is one of my favorites. The old stuff was made well and lasts, not like the new cheap stuff.
Me too. This is so true. Do they even use real wood anymore?
